RILEY QUINN FARMERY

ABOUT RILEY
Riley Quinn Farmery is a queer, relationship anarchist, non-binary artist living in Seattle, and uses they/them pronouns. Riley believes that art is an essential part of growing and healing and wishes that people who think they can't make art would try. Art is a big source of happiness for Riley, and they do not feel like themselves when not creating things.
Before moving to Seattle they were living in Boston and getting their bachelor's degree in sculpture. In school they worked with many mediums including blacksmithing, welding, wood-carving, paper-making, glass-blowing and ceramics. They had thought that they were going to be majoring in drawing and painting until they took a welding class and decided they wanted to be a sculptor. Of all the mediums working with ceramics is one of their favorites because it reminds them of working in the garden with their mom.
In Seattle you can find them dancing blues fusion and contra, playing the ukulele in the park, in a wide range of communities they are passionate about, spending time with friends and family or at home with their cats.
